Thank you for visiting, and welcome to the Blaster Master Zero 3 Full Achievement Guide Guide!
This guide will go over all achievements in the game and give you some detail on the more difficult and less common ones.
Unmissable Achievements
These are all details I won’t go into, but you will learn them as you progress through this story. It is impossible not to get both endings and miss any of them. If you somehow manage to do that, let me be amused.
Before you move on to the rest of the guide, let me tell you. The point where there is no return, The Forbidden Sector, the room in the picture below, is that. Once you have entered the wormhole, challenged the boss of Area 6 (and progressed the narrative), you will not be allowed to return to any previous area. Make sure you collect every upgrade/achievement before you go any further. I strongly recommend that you save at the retry level in this room and that you copy your saved data in another slot just in case.
Beyond the Metafight
Beat the Metal Attacker in the 1st region.
Kane is the normal rule of thumb when you face them in the first location. However, you may win the fight. It won’t affect the events that will follow. Inti Creates includes a reset command, which you can input on the controller. You should ensure that you have set the retry button before starting a fight. If you lose, press Select, Start, L, and then R simultaneously, go back to your title screen, and then reload the file. If you’ve to bind them to buttons other than the recommended location, the inputs might differ. If you lose to Kane and hit a Save Point, you will need a new save file. At least it’s at the beginning of the game.
Kane isn’t difficult, but you might need to take some time to learn his attacks and how Sophia works. Kane has UI just like yours that shows his HP bar and what sub weapons he has. This will help you be more prepared for what’s to come.
Gaia system Master
Mastering The Gaia System.
This one can only be obtained if you have sufficient cumulative SP. You can grind this out at Area 2 – Sophia Metropolis. Fire a sub gun, then hop on one of these springs to recover your SP. Rinse and Repeat. This should take about 20 minutes.
Reversal
You can become a frequent user of the VRV software and adjust to super-dimensional space.
The game checks to determine how many times you have entered super-dimensional spatial space both on foot (and in the Sophia). This will unlock after you have used the VRV program enough times. If you want to be sure that you get this, take the super-dimensional space entry option in the top-down sections whenever possible. This is also a prerequisite for the best possible ending to the game. The game will inform you if this has been achieved on the status screen. In the beginning, Jason has what I presume to be a wedding ring. However, by the end, he will own two. In case the VRV system wasn’t used enough by you, Point of no returns, You can still comply with the requirements.
Life as a Person
See the usual ending.
Either fight Area 6’s boss – The Forbidden Sector- without obtaining the Reversal achievement. This will give access to the non-canonical final chapter of the game. This is the last save point that the boss had before you. The point where there is no turning back So you can reload and get the second ending.
Life in Super Dimensional Space
View the true ending.
While discussing the two endings of the story, the true ending can be found by simply entering super-dimensional space one final time. This should be on all your screens. L and R buttons If you’ve forgotten something, it’s not too late. There is no going back after you complete this task. You can’t achieve this unless you beat the ultimate boss, but this section fits well.
Careful Collector
Obtain every item.
Self-explanatory. This achievement won’t pop until you get all of the upgrades, as Jason. Kane, who you play after on the way to the best end, will do that. Pa*sed the point of zero return. There is one optional upgrade. It could be difficult for Jason to tell you if all the upgrades were received. I cannot help but to try to identify any missing items in this guide. For starters, I suggest saving a copy of your save file at Area 6 just before you approach the boss of Forbidden Sektor.
Are you able to have two full bars for your HP and SP?
Check every map. Are there any blue rhombus-looking icons? Those are permanent enhancements. The areas you are most likely missing items in include: Area 2, where the optional boss is behind the fake wall. Area 4, in the wormhole madze, and Area 6. An SF dungeon containing a hidden upgrade that isn’t in super dimensional space.
And lastly, do you see your status screens looking like mine?
As for the Kane upgrade, it is located after the Kanna fight (or as players call it, The Kanna Maze.). You reach a point in which you need to do some platforming. You jump down on several platforms to reach the platform below. Your attention may have been drawn toward the bottom of the screen because it appears there is a pit. Hovering to the right will take one to the dungeon. The other will take you up. Look to your right at that other one with the strange-looking walls. You can go in there. Continue through this, and you will find Kane’s only permanent update – the Accel Blast.
If the achievement doesn’t come up when you receive the Accel Blast (or any other reward), you must have missed something. You can save yourself time by creating a backup of your data earlier.
Leibniz Rising
Defeat Rising Garuda.
While it is impossible to miss the true ending if you already have it, This fight ranks second in the game. There aren’t many opportunities for Leibniz to be damaged so make the most of those moments. Except for the upgrade, Kane’s other sub-weapons will be used. Bring as much ammunition to the fight as you can. I also recommend that your use the Shortcut buttons to your sub weapons. This is an excellent move for Kane since he will use three Subweapons during the fight – two sets on the back triggers and one on the normal button. If you’re still struggling, you could return to Kanna Maze to collect life energy shields for your Metal Attacker. An optional cave contains four guards (two HP bars).
Here is a video that a friend of mine made to help people. It shows how you can avoid every attack and when it is best to unleash your damage. You can use your hover to take damage but not like him.
Blaster Master of Sophia and Warrior
Be defeated by Kane and Jason.
These are all in the same place for convenience. Once you get one, you can reload you save and get the second immediately. Jason would be my first choice. I won’t give any advice to beat Kane with Jason, as it’s one of my favorite fights. This fight is going to be won by fully-powered Jason versus gramps who’s been using the same loading system since 1988. Eve will a*sist you with replenishment if your health gets ill.
Now let’s talk about beating Jason against Kane. Remember how I said Leibniz was a tough fight? Jason is THE most difficult. Get the Kane Accel Blast to help you make this fight more manageable. You can still find them if they aren’t there by now. I don’t recommend sub weapon use. You can also make a backtrack to retrieve the life energy protectors in the Kanna Maze,. Jason will then be exposed for damage for a couple of seconds. This is the time to get started mashing. If there was an item Jason had a lot of use for, the AI may be more likely against Kane.
Jason will go into a rage mode if Jason has half of an HP bar. Eve would help him get back to a health and half bar. He will move into another dimension. Once there, you will follow him and try to avoid his attacks. Jason will be without SP after you’ve returned. He’ll be using the Gaia Systems to get his power back faster, and he is always open to new opportunities. Kane’s number Accel Blast, should be used immediately. You will need a full SP meter. Keep your target in front of you and hold your chosen button until it’s fully charged. To check if it is fully charged, the SP meter will appear empty initially but slowly fill up. Once it’s fully charged, you can release the button. You win if Jason hits it with it. Even if the upgrade didn’t come to you, you can still win. As soon as Jason is out SP, do the most damage possible until Jason heals. The fight will then proceed as normal; Eve won’t heal Jason a second.
