Here’s how easy it is to fix the game becoming cloudy and the fog building up indoors. This will allow you to feel like you’re playing N64 again.

The Fix

1. Go to AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

2. Notepad and Open engine.ini

3. Add this at the bottom:

[/script/engine.renderersettings]

r.fog=1

r.VolumetricFog=0

4. Save the file.

That’s it! No more broken fog. Here’s a before-and-after.
